The marketing branch of Lightcraft Entertainment began in 2009, when Jacob Rayford was looking for a director to bring the voice of his movement to shed a positive light on city life all over the world, starting with his beloved hometown of Detroit, MI. This was the beginning of Rep Your City, which began with a short walkabout marketing spot, and has since grown to sponsor major Detroit events such as the Michigan Film Gala (held this past New Year's Eve).

In 2010, based on the work done on a wedding video for the owner's daughter, Lightcraft was recruited by Karagosian Jewelers to revamp their ad campaign with a seven commercial deal, including five internet commercials (still in production, 3/23/2011).
