Weddings

Beginning in 2006 when I shot my first wedding video for Robin and Matt (two of my bosses while working as a server at Olga's Kitchen), I officially became a wedding videographer.

The following summer, I became an independent contractor working for what was, at the time, the biggest wedding vendor in the state of Michigan: Starshowz Media Creations. Anyone who watched Fox 2 back in the winter of 2009 knows what happened there... but before the company went belly up, I went from a simple shooter to being a full-time employee editing wedding videos as well as becoming the top-booked videographer for the company, leading a massive overhaul of the video department's style and quality.

When Starshowz died a quiet death over the holiday season of 2008, Lightcraft Entertainment as we know it was born, and I went into business for myself. Since then, I have doubled my booking schedule each year and in 2010, I was honored by finishing in the top five for Best Wedding Videography in ClickonDetroit.com's Best of 4 Contest. Not too bad for a one man operation in the game for only two years, and I wish to continue that string of quality that made such recognition possible.

What makes the wedding films I create so unique is that I truly take the time to get to know each couple and create a connection that allows me to incorporate and capture their personalities so that attention and care is given to every frame of video that's shot, and in the end, the final product not only showcases a special day, but serves as a time capsule that truly represents who they are and why they fell in love.
